HELP

Post by rthomas »

OK I think we all know that there tech support sucks. So here I am with my new MJ but when I go to use it the person I'm talking to has this stuttering every now and then. Did all there fix and reboot things but still no luck. I use it with my laptop and that is run through my linksys broadband router. I' tried a cordless and a corded phone. Not sure if anyone has had this issue. Any one with ideas please help

Try to test your VOIP connection score to see where the problem lies:

Your VOIP scores look fine, so I guess the stuttering issue is with MJ server. Wait a few days to see if it improves as MJ is still "messing" with server upgrade around different parts of the country.

Thanks. Does it matter what type of phone I use cordless or corded?

No, as long as the phone is known to be in good working condition. Usually, corded phone is better since it doesn't have to deal with RF interference like a cordless phone. But some good cordless phones are very good. Panasonic makes very good cordless phones.
