To get a clean clear audio signal, the Hawking HBB1 Broadband Booster is a real plus! less then $50.00-hurry-they are being discontinued for some stupid reason-they work real well and also improve overall internet speed on DSL-
MJ Audio Enhancement-Hawking Booster being discontinued

Mine has made quite a difference. If you are getting bad connections, it's worth it! On TestYourVOIP.com, I now get 4.2 to 4.4 to ANY server. People say that the calls are better too. They have trouble telling whether I am call in in my Verizscum line or "the doodad".
If you can pick one up cheap, go for it. You'll be glad you did!

I'm not sure if they're being discontinued. I got one two weeks ago direct from Hawking. It does work great. At TestYourIPVideo.com, I went from a 3.0 to 4.9 on the Boston connection (didn't try the others). What was interesting, too, was watching the Hawking during the test -- the "boost" blue LED was on solidly, indicating that the unit had detected the priority packets and was doing whatever it had to do to them. Needless to say, the voice quality on the MagicJack is better, there is no more static, and latency is way, way down -- quality is actually better than my wired POTS telephone line.
Glad to hear it! I was told by the people at my local Fryes Electronic store that they no longer sell them because the company is stopping their production. I emailed Hawking a few times to ask if this was true and why they would want to do it. I told them how well they work with MJ and that they should contact Dan and set it up for him to offer them in the MJ store. They should be sold right along with MJ. They are a must for anyone with dsl. If they are discontinued, I only hope they make something to take it's place. For 30 bucks I get real clear calls.-I do have problems with incoming calls while playing video games-don't know why
