Trying to get MJ running on a second machine. First machine worked without a hitch. Didn't need to do any port forwarding on the router (old linksys b router).

Second machine has been more a challenge. Got the MJ to work when directly connected to the cable modem. But it chokes when the router gets added in (linksys wrt54g v5).

Softphone is slow to load and when it finally does load, I keep getting error 3 messages.

Running win xp sp2.

Any thoughts on troubleshooting this would be appreciated. Yes, I do have all the correct ports open on the router (udp 5060-5070, tcp 80 annd 443).

TIA.

You might try upgrading to dd-wrt firmware it works way better than stock, make sure there is a version for your router and be very careful to make sure you install it correctly or it could brick your router.

good luck!

kingo,

Do you have Plug-n-Play enabled on your second machine?

Also don't you have to forward the ports to a spcific machine? i.e. you have them open to the first machine but how about the second machine.

Are both machines XP-SP2?
