I always get an e-mail notifying me of new voicemail. However, "vmail" never lights up on the softphone and I never get a stutter dial-tone.

Updated my Vista Ultimate 64-bit last night. All working well. No issues with magicJack here.

I get great sound, unless the incoming call is from a cell phone. Then it just sounds like a skipping record.

My programs do not get minimized. The softphone just pops up over all other apps on incoming calls. As far as I know, this cannot be disabled. Though a workaround/hack might exist.

Does anyone know of a way to stop MagicJack from adding a short cut to the desktop each time I start my computer? VERY annoying.

Yeah. Thanks, indeed. Works great. If I do for some reason need to see the soft phone, I just click the red dot in the task bar and un-check "Block MagicJack"
