Is there a novice thread where newbies could ask questions without fear of being told to research through lot of messages they don't understand?

I must be having a combination of issues. I have 2 MJs, both connected to the house wiring.

Is there a how-to for MJ + SPA3102?
I have a SPA3102, I searched and found that it should work but I have no idea how to configure it. Is there a guide/walk through/how-to for this? If not, would somebody mind making one?
