I just had the same issues today (dead air from incoming calls), with the same results from "Fix It" center. What's going on with these people?

I have a cable modem that usually uses a vonage for phone. I haven't changed anything.

This is a cordless phone and we just plugged it in yesterday after having similar problems with another phone. I've tried unplugging and rebooting. When you pick up, you hear one last ring before dead silence ...

I have no problem making calls. But, when the phone rings and you answer, there's nothing coming through on either end. And, VM isn't registering after the forth ring. What gives?
