I just tried this & it did not work for me. Please explain how you got forwarding to your own mj # worked.

Calling from Largo (Tampa) area to Canada & call quality has gotten terrible in the last couple of months. Mostly then cannot hear me but I can hear then - useless. Anyone else notice this? Used to work reasonable but not now. Calls in States does not seem affected.

I just tried same # + 1 (ending 5263) and would "ring" but tried same # MINUS 1 & 2 & did the same - says active but will not even ring. I am at a loss! Thanks everyone.

Thanks nailgunner. I can call that # from google mail & cell fine but 2 MJ's 727 & 404 area code's both do the same thing (starting from dial tone) & that is nothing both saying active but dead. Maybe new post "best tip" is right - go the duo instead of fighting constantly with this MJ that no one ...

Thanks, that is what's supposed to happen but I wanted someone to call on MagicJack as mine (2) don't work on this number.

please reply your findings - I call - no ring - nothing but says active. Same on 2 different laptops using 2 different MJ (most all other #'s work ok just some do not & trying to get to reason why not. Thanks

I have 2 MJ on 2 different laptops (2 versions). Works most times but certain #'s I call does nothing (starting with a dial tone). Same on both laptops calling same #. Call other #'s & works fine. One in particular is a Sears eye glass center (answering system - select option etc.) Neither MJ works ...

Kif you mention that MJ will not give busy, then why do I get one when calling the number above & why did I waste 1 hour on the phone with tech supporrt to solve the issue?
