I did hit the same problem this morning.
This is really really stupid move from Magicjack. If they want to advertise their site, they can...but they cannot block outgoing calls to somebody. If I create new conferences, I can create using this magic free conference.. but I can't force every body at ...

Asterisk + MJProxy + GVOut + Possibly Skype
Guys,
I have installed linux on my server yesterday and configured Asterisk. I am finding tough time with SIP configurations in Asterisk.
I am trying to do MJProxy, GVout and Possibly Skype integration. Can somebody point me to right URLs ?
thanks

Hello Guys,
As "ASUS WL-520gU" has got USB port, can we plug in MJ and run some ipkg in DD-WRT of this router? If we can achieve this combination, this is gonna be the best option of all.. don't have to run the computer or don't have to run MJProxy or don't have worry about MJ Future updates.

All,
As we are forced to use Dongle now, I have started using it on my home computer. Few minutes after leaving it idle, It just totally freezes (no LED glows on MagicJack, USB devices don't get power, and it doesn't ping on network too..even the display doesn't change.. at least the clock on right ...

I have a feeling that after port forward for 5060 and 5070.. it has got little better.. but, it is still too soon to make such a statement.. I will watch it more and ...

Bandwidth for USB Dongle
Fellow MJs,
I have started using USB dongle lately (you know why ;).
Call quality is unbelievable and no where close to ATA quality.
Is there anyway to allocate a dedicated bandwidth for MJ ?
Any other tuning techniques known to improve performance ?

Free Incoming number for SIP
Hello Everybody,
IPKcall doesn't seem to work anymore. I have waited more than a week to get the number. No luck.
Is there any other site that offers free incoming number to my SOP phone?
Thanks in advance

Any SIP Softphone that lets you change "User-Agent"
I still din't give up hope on "User-Agent"
This is only change in my SIP data before and after.
User-Agent = MagicJack/1.80.484a (SJ Labs)
User-Agent = User-Agent: MagicJack/1.80.484a (SJ Labs)
Sounds like User-Agent: is included in the agent name itself. Not sure if anybody tried.
Thanks
