i was referring to reducing the number of programs that startup with your vista computer. mine had all this HP stuff running, i basically got it to start up with the bare bones programs. Maybe, you just have too much stuff running? good luck.

Some people are experiencing this beeping issue. Please download and run this Patch with your magicJack plugged it. It should eliminate most of the beeping sounds:

UNiden dect 6.0 (dect 1580) works fantastic.

had it for about 1 month, my wife calls china with it and her phone card. no complaints there (saves LOTS OF cell phone minutes), i call relatives out of state, no problems at all so far.
this is saving me about 30$/month.

i got my MJ about 1 month ago, its on a cordless all is well so far.

i just had a 15 min conversation and heard the beep once.

HI,
I hit the Voice mail button on MJ and hear no audio at all. Shouldnt i hear a greeting? DO you all hear greetings? When I dial my own # from the phone i have installed on MJ it works fine.
