I am still having the problem but to a much lessor degree. In a one hour call I will now get from 1 to 5 beeps - about half what it was before - but still unacceptable as far as I am concerned. I am starting to look into other VOIP choices. Any comment on these?

I like andrewhalladay's idea. But wait... maybe it's fixed?! Yesterday when I got home and picked up my phone there was no dial tone. I went to the PC and there was a message on the MJ panel that said " don't dial out you will be receiving an important update in the next 60 seconds". An hour later ...

I too am using a real phone plugged into MJ and when on calls I hear random DTMF tones as if the caller was touching the keypad (they are NOT). This happens with all conversations whether called or calling. The other party CANNOT hear the tones.
