I had the same problem and I loaded MJ before SP1. My solution was by fluke. I tried a headset, changed the menu on MJ to use the headset and it worked for incoming and outgoing calls. I still can't use a handset. My son (also with Vista O/S) had the same problem and the headset also worked for him ...
