Proxy question
I have seen many posts talk about a lot of different proxys. My question is does it matter which proxy you connect to. If it does matter which you are connecting to, how does one go about picking to right proxy. Are there different tests one should run to find the best ping, ect.?

While there are many proxies, your MJ will almost consistently use only one - usually the closest one to your physical location based on your assigned MJ phone. It may try to use the proxy closest to your physical IP location, but I'm not sure since I haven't been away from WA since I installed started using MJ back in April.
A good way to figure out what proxy your MJ is using is to use Wireshark and watch where your MJ packets end up when they find the proxy server. For me, I have a Tacoma, WA MJ number and the proxy that is used nearly 100% of the time is proxy1.Seattle.talk4free.com (67.88.218.6). Only once did see it connect to the Portland proxy.
Hope this helps.
