Magicjack keeps restarting

Has anyone had the experience of their magicjack restarting over and over...any ideas on a fix?

I read some users take their magicjack out of the USB port overnight....I do not....Is it necessary to do so?

It might be your phone. I had tried to use a Uniden 900MHz cordless initially with MJ and MJ would restart every time I tried to make a call. I then connected a corded phone and MJ has worked since then.

between the time of my posting and your response, magic jack seems to have calmed down. My phone worked fairly well with MJ until this morning. I am beginning to guess that because I had a software problem yesterday (I had to uninstall and reinstall.....not MJ) and before I knew the cause of my problems I ran GoBack twice (GoBack is a more sophisticated system restore than System Restore in XP) MJ may have become a bit confused....At least that is my current guess.

Do you (or does anyone) have a guess on the second part of my question...Is there any reason to remove MJ from the USB port when one will not be using one's computer (overnight???? when away for a few days???)

As far as I know, there is no reason to take MJ out at night. Mine stays connected all the time.

Mine stays connected 24/7 unless there is a thunderstorm in the area, then I shut my puter down as well.
