Trying to call from the US to a magicjack phone number that starts with 312 that is currently located overseas and get weird sound immediately after dialing the number using the landline phone.
When calling from the mobile AT&T phone I get the error message displayed on the screen: "Service not Supported"
It would not even offer connection to the MagicJack Voicemail!
Tried to talk to "Live Person" using the link from the MagicJack WebSite and they all direct me to the patch file download.
Any idea what the "Service not supported" error is all about? My other MagicJack is located in the US and also is at the 312 area code. and it works just fine...
Thanks in advance!

Problem is gone
Don't know what caused the original issue but it was gone the next day by itsef.
May be related to the fact that PC in the different country was rebooted?
Anyway, I am glad the problem was fixed.
PS
It still takes couple of calls most of the time to get connected and able to speak to the other party though.
First time I call there and they can hear me but I cannot hear them.
The second time I call there and we both can hear each other.
At this point I am okay with that

While magicJack says it will work overseas on any high speed connection, there are problems sometimes trying to work an overseas connection. Ever tried to download a file from an overseas location? Sometimes it works; sometimes not. There are a number of variables involved; distance, number of hops to a location, etc.
