Magicjack Not working today
I rebooted my PC today and Magicjack said it was doing an update. Now It says "Please connect to the internet and double click here [error 3]. I click and it takes me to login screen and it says already activated and my login info doesn't seem to work. I'm in Las Vegas. Is anyone else having problems today?
Same problem in Kansas. I can't even get to the error 3. I just keep getting the interrupted update message and click retry. Hard drive just keeps running, but nothing happens. That STUPID MagicJack icon keeps popping up in the middle of the screen blocking any other program from running properly!
Last night my pc locked up while using MJ. I had to shut it down with the power button. For some unknown reason, I lost the last 6 weeks of e-mail, and now MJ doesn't work.
Fortunately, I'm only 1 week into my 30 day trial. Looks like it's going back!!!

Yesterday I was told by roommates that phone just kept ringing non-stop. The person who called said he could not get a voice mail message. It would keep ringing even after he had hungup until I answered it and hung up the phone then it stopped.
Then I rebooted today and it said it was doing an upgrade. Now it doesn't work.
I checked my membership from the site and I still have over a month of service before I have to renew. I've done the magicfix and ran the upgrade.exe file again from Magicjack but it hasn't fixed it.
I've seen something like this before when their servers were down. It seems to happen on the weekend from what I can tell.

Do not be surprised if error 3 pops up again for a while. the magicJack/YMAX engineers are making significant changes to all the servers across the country and until that work is finished error 3 condition will come and go. If you get an error 3 condition just unplug your magicJack and wait for a few hours then plug the magicJack back in. This has happened to me -- I was out of commission for 12 hours before my error 3 condition disappeared. In chatting with the magicJack people I found out that the servers are undergoing significant changes causing the error 3 condition. I also suspect that once all the work has been completed on the servers spoofing will no longer be able to function.

Must be a prob in specific locations today since it has been working fine all day today here in Texas. Have made a few LD phone calls to east and west coast with no issues.
Only guessing here, but if they are doing some upgrades to their servers, maybe it's only affecting certain area code locations.
