No audio on mac

I just installed majicjack on my imac and i can make and recieve calls. The problem is that i was under the impression that you could talk throught the pc via speakers and mic...i don't hear anything on the computer or on the phone i'm calling...what gives?

On a PC you can talk through the mic and listen through the PC speakers using the softphone. I don't have personal experience with a mac, but I found this ".......I was told mac is still in the beta process... also I noticed you can only use the phone port as with the pc version you could use your speaker and mic as a speaker phone."
