changed my number and area code now no incoming calls ?

any body else have this problem? I changed my area code and number and now I can only receive incoming calls only from my old magicjack area code and number. If anybody calls the new number it will not go through???

Have you guys checked which number you want selected in your account ? Once you log into your account in that website, the first box displays which phone number you want setup with MJ.

And I think I figured out my problem. I had tech support select my new number because I was using mozilla firefox as my browser and I choose my new area code and pre-fix . But there was no next button?? So tech support did it. I've been fighting for 3 days trying to figure it out.. I opened internet explorer and tried to change my number and there was the next button to push after I picked a area code and number!! But the pre-fix I wanted wasn't there?? I told teck support I wanted 651-327.. There was none when I did it my self!! So I changed my number again to 651-705 and I think its working .. I wasn't getting incoming calls on my 651-327 number.. I waiting for a call back to see if my 651-705 will except incoming calls!! I'll post If I do get incoming calls and let you know!!!

I had to use internet explorer to change my phone number. i had tech support do it for me because i could confirm a new number change using mozilla firefox as my browser. when I tried and did change my number again with IE as my browser, i found out there were no 327 numbers avaliable in the 651 area code!! So i changed my number again to minnesota 651 w/705 prefix that was avaliable and there was a comformation button now using IE . now I receive calls fine!! i don't know if tech support gave me a number that someone was giving up , but it was still their number for a month???
