International call quality improved however..

Earlier( since using MJ for 2 months ) everything used to sound good to me, but the recipient on an international call would complain about my voice being quiet. Recently they say that I sound almost perfect, but for me they sound muffled now whereas before they didn't. As if their speaking with their mouth right against the mic which is not the case. Just wondering of others experiences.
