I thought I would post this here to hopefully save some other people time and aggravation. My magicJack has been working fine until this morning. I restarted the magicJack using RDC (remote desktop client) from my laptop. The magicJack is running on a box in my basement and I was too lazy to walk down there, so I accessed the box remotely only to get an error message stating that "no audio devices found". Finally, I figured out it was because I was accessing the box remotely using RDC. Do not use RDC to restart your magicJack, you must do it from the local machine to avoid RDC disabling your audio devices. RDC automatically disables the audio devices when you login creating the issue with magicJack when is restarts. Hope this helps others.

When using RDC, you can select an option to leave the audio on the remote machine. You might try that next time.
