How to install TinyXP via USB for a Thin Client?

Post by joshness »

First off I still haven't resolved my 2gb DOM problem, but that is in another thread. In the meantime I want to prep the USB flash drive I have so that I can easily install TinyXP.

Okay, I have the latest version of TinyXP, 0.90. I am trying to basically copy the iso over to a usb flash drive so that I can install it from there instead of from a CD. I've googled and tried multiple things but I have had no success in getting my usb to go into the windows installation. I've been able to get the usb to be bootable (used some win98 boot files)

Can someone who has installed TinyXP for their Thin Client explain how they got it on there? A detailed step for step would help. I have only one caveat. I only have laptops to work with currently, there is one computer I may be able to salvage together if need be. Only problem is that I don't have a 44pin to 40pin cable/connector.
