I have 1 central phone and 3 satillites. I want to disconnect my old AT&T and use the MJ exclusively. MJ says you can do this by disconncting from the outside box, connecting a phone cord to the 'pigtail' and plug the other end to an internal jack. I think this creates a 'loop'. I'm ok with is, but the 'plugged in' cord would have to be exposed and run about 30 feet to the nearest jack. Is there an easier way? Couldn't I connect the loose ends of the disconnected cord and...

It doesn't look like you completed your question. But I thought you just plug the MagicJack into the wall with a regular phone cord after you disconnect the outside service. I could be totally wrong.

I have a new computer being delivered on Wednesday, I will be trying to make MJ work efficiently and check the repeatability. I'll let ya know the outcome.
