MJ in PV MEX, land line blocked

Post by bowmanmt »

I will be renting a villa in PV mexico for 3 months and was thinking about MJ. The landlord has a landline there but its for incoming and only outgoing calls. For long distance its blocked. Is that going to present a problem with using MJ. Also I have a new dell laptop loaded with vista, I am not a tech enginier. I do have cable internet. Thanks

Restrictions on landlines should not affect MJ since it uses the internet to send/receive calls. Infact you don't need a land line at all for MJ to work, all you need is a high speed internet connection. i.e. cable or dsl. MJ is compatible with windows vista

If by PV you mean Puerto Vallarta then I will be going there soon myself, and bringing my MJ + a laptop with me. I expect it should work just fine. We'll see.
