Can anyone help with delay??
It seems that the question gets buried or maybe just missed. I can handle the *67 trick to lose the echo and I most certainly would not use this a my only phone. The delay in the calls is just down right annoying. My wife wont even use it because of it, which is nice because that is the reason I bought it. the delay between when you speak and the other end hears it makes it very frustrating. I just aksed my wife to put a time to the delay and we agreed it is about 3 seconds, maybe 4. So imagine the call, I speak, a 3-4 second delay, the other person talks, I talk, 3-4 second delay, now it seems as if there is a pause in the convo and I start to talk again and the other person is now responding to what i said before but now stops because I am talking again and then I stop because they are talking again and then they stop and so on and so on. I did all the background service stuff, I have turned off everthing else when using the MJ. I do know what i am doing with a pc and I can tell you it aint the pc. In fact i have tried it on all there in our house. It is driving me nuts and there has to be a reason and a fix.

Well isn't that an interesting read. Nothing but a headache now. Nice convo about setting mtu high and lower and this wont work but that will and this wont, buy this, dont use that. Holy cow man. I guess the bottom line is that I, and alot of others, are just stuck with it if we chose to use it. Not to happy at all.
I suspect, and hope, it's just MagicJack Inc. getting their act together... with server issues.
otherwise this service isn't going to last very long if no one renews their yearly deals because the usb dongle goes bad quick, besides the MJ servers maybe adding issues as well.
I hope they straighten out their "F" rating at the Better Business Burear (www.bbb.org)
at times I have very good connections where NO delay is there, and then, sometimes, during the conversation, it starts to delay about one second, more or less.
while I was talking to Transcend, about memory and DOMs (disk-on-module), it was delaying about 1/2 to 1 full second, then started to sputter a bit, then calmed down, but near the end of the 15 minutes or so, it was really long delays, of almost 3 or 4 seconds.
Good thing I was almost done with all the technical help, and was just saying good-bye
For me, it seems to happen during long phone calls, over 10 or 15 minutes, and ... sometimes not at all.
I guess the thread I linked to just shows no one really knows, at the moment, what's fully causing the issue (short of being at the MJ servers office to check) ... so they're trying to give you all the possible fixes to try ... but doesn't mean you'd need to do all of them.
This technology is still "new". ... I'm sure Alaxender Grayham-bell (if i spelled it correctly
) had similar issues when he started the POTS service over 100 years ago. 
I'm not going to give up on MJ just yet.
it's possible the ISP is doing something too,... in this world ... today ... big corporations are trying to block startup companies from success, to add to their own, and I'm sure some "big-wigs" at an ISP would accept some kind of payoff to cause trouble... or ... haha ... some little pencil necked, pimple faced dork in the servers station sure would.
I do know your ISP connection must have smooth steady transfer of the data stream, not just wide bandwidth. when my connection is smooth flowing, the MJ is perfect, and no delay either.
when you download a large file, do you notice the connection icon in your task bar showing the "lit screen" without going off and on?
if not, you may not have a steady flow of data, and may be getting spirts of fast data, then nothing for a small fraction of a second then it starts again, this really screws up data that needs to be flowing steady, like video, or even simple two-way voice.
