Does anybody know
How to get the SIP credintials from MJ, or is it impossable? If it can be done, please tell me how via PM. I have tried everything I can think of and searched this site and the internet for hours and days. I don't think it is even possible any more.
I also wanted to know if a linksys pap2 would work if I ever do get the SIP. It is brand new in the box. It does not say if it is a NA or V2. Under model # it just says PAP2.
can anybody help.
Thanks

As of 1 SEPT, Magicjack has totally revamped their registration process, requiring information to be sent for verification that cannot be duplicated with an ATA. Enjoy it while you can!!!!!!!!!

Where did you get this information? I just received my PAP2T-NA yesterday and set it up, and haven't had any problems yet... Are you sure about this?crackerjack wrote:Sorry, folkspacken wrote:How to get the SIP credintials from MJ, or is it impossable? If it can be done, please tell me how via PM. OK, lets say if I ever get my SIP credintials, how do I get into my PAP2 to configure it? How do I know if its locked or not. It is brand new, still in the package. Under model it just says PAP2, there is no NA or V2, just PAP2. This is a linksys. I have done a lot of searching but still can't find out how to set this up. The user manual says to just hook it up and go, of course it is made for vonage.
Take it out of the box, plug it in following all instructions. Within minutes, your sip credentials will be installed onto you box and your Vonage account will activate assuming you provided a good credit card number.packen wrote:OK, lets say if I ever get my SIP credintials, how do I get into my PAP2 to configure it? If you have read any of this thread, you would know that I am not talking about setting up a vonage account.dildog wrote:Take it out of the box, plug it in following all instructions. Is there anybody that can actually answer my question? Also, how do I tell what firmware version is on it?

If it is made for vonage, then it is locked for vonage and can only be used with vonage.packen wrote:OK, lets say if I ever get my SIP credintials, how do I get into my PAP2 to configure it? Linksys Pap2 for vonage can be unlocked and used with any sip account.
