If you are behind a router please make sure ports 5060 and 5070 are open/forwarded. If you have a router list the brand and model and I'm sure I or someone else here can tell you how to forward the ports.

When all else fails ,bypass the router, turn off the firwall and anti-virus and then rule out each problem. You can hard jack you rj-45 cable straight to your modem or dsl hook up. Open up the netgear manual and read it. That should be the first step when you bought it. In my linksys it's under application and gamming and you set the ip of the computer and set the starting and ending ports give it an application name and set the protocal(tcp or udp).
