QoS Settings (D-Link DIR-655)

Hi all.

I am now just starting to play with the QoS setting in my rounter (D-Link DIR-655) to give my MJ priority. If someone has already done this (on a similar if not same router), can you look over my settings to see if they look OK?

Name: MagicJack
Priority: 1
Protocol: 257 (Both)
Local IP Range: 192.168.1.12 - 192.168.1.12 (my MJ Thin Client)
Local Port Range: 5060 - 5070
Remote IP Range: 0.0.0.0 - 255.255.255.255
Remote Port Range: 0 - 65535

Local Port Range: 5060 - 5070

When you start MJ it creates a control connection on 5070. I haven't seen it use 5060 to 5069. But, maybe I just haven't seen it yet.

But, the real activity is when a call occurs. It opens a connection on a port anywhere between 10000 and 20000. That's the one that, if given priority via QoS, you'll notice a difference.

This is what I found using a Linksys WRT54GL flashed with Tomato firmware. I might have some details wrong. But, it's what I found playing around with it for a few hours.
