Is there any way at all to change caller ID?

Post by psycofirek »

I know that the old spoof trick doesn't work anymore.

I'm not very technical about these sorts of things, so I don't know what is and isn't possible. Could one use magicJack through Asterisk/trixbox to change their caller ID? Or is it not possible at all?

Thanks and sorry if this seems absolutely stupid. I'm just wondering.

Could just install PBX in a flash and set it up so your DID says something else on out bound but you might have to get a book or a PDF and read it.
