MJ on schedule and save $$ on monthly electric bill.
For those of you using laptop, PC to host MJ (don't want to spend $$$ for a Thin Client), you might find that leaving the machine on 24/7 is overkill. You can schedule your laptop, PC to sleep at late night and to restart the next morning at specific times. Thus, you will be not annoyed from unwanted calls at times you don't really want, plus saving some $$ on your monthly electric bill.
There are many shareware/freeware available for you to do this. I've found a small shareware called "Auto Power-on & ShutDown" by www.lifsoft.com. Of course, there are many other freewares could do the same job equally well. It is your pick.

Power used
I just got my MJ this month. Set it up on a laptop I don't use much. I'm currently looking for a laptop as my exclusive MJ 'puter. At least when the power blips or goes down for 1-2 minutes the MJ PC keeps an going. No need for a UPS.
Anyway, I'm not really worried about the power draw for MJ. No matter what I use it will always be less then my beer frig
I got MJ for my credit card machine, but, alas it won't work.
Not to complain but...
I just noticed, this phpBB sux as for the variety of emoticons. Some of the boards I'm on have what seems like 75+ available.

I think you need a ThinClient. Of course it would be pointless to link you because the forums are flooded with thinclienters....Water Boy wrote:I just got my MJ this month. P.S
Yeah the PHPBB sucks balls, but no one wants to upgrade to 3. AT LEAST a better skin that goes with the magicjack. Rather then the default blue and stuff. But, just my opinion....
Will not be on forum until after June 15th.

Yea, I looked/read about TCs. That requires a hard cash layout. I plan to get my LT on trade.kumar wrote: I think you need a ThinClient. Of course it would be pointless to link you because the forums are flooded with thinclienters....
