I have had this problem. I did have to change my pc to a different slightly faster pc that helped but only with certain model phones (Panasonic). The Panasonic phones are the only phones in my house that ring. But I have 4 of them all located in various parts of the house, 5 other don't ring including a non-powered non-wirless phone.
