So after 6 months with MJ I decided to try the CID fix. It works very well showing the calling number. Thanks to all that are responsible for the fix, especially GT for the succinct instructions.
However, there is a side effect that is annoying at best. Whenever I receive a call that goes unanswered, whether a voicemail is left or not, my message indicator on my Uniden cordless phones (5.8GhZ TRU8866) light up. Supposedly, this indicator is to be a visual of a message waiting. Well, not always now.
Has anybody else seen this and if so, does anybody have a fix?
