NSIS Error cant get magicjack to load properly
My magicjack has been working fine for almost a year now but last night something messed up and I can't get it to load right. When I restart my computer and it tries to load, or when I double click it from My Computer I get the following error :
NSIS Error -
The installer you are trying to use is corrupted or incomplete.
This could be the result of a damaged disk, a failed download or
a virus.
You may want to contact the author of this installer of obtain a new
copy. It may be possible to skip this check using the /NCRC command
line switch(NOT RECOMMENDED)
It even says that when I open MagicjackLoader.exe in the mjusbp directory. The only way I can get my magicjack softphone to come up is run an upgrade file, or run setup.exe in the mjusbp/ug00000 directory...
I've been on tech chat several times but they tell me to do the same thing over and over and the things their saying isn't even related to this problem.
If someone has ever had this problem or knows how to fix it, please let me know.
thanks.

That didn't work but I got on the technical support a few times and the last two times they kept me on there over an hour both times doing nothing and told me they were going to send me a replacement magicjack and I never got any emails, I got on there again they said the same thing told me to wait an hour for an email, still no emails. I think they're a bunch of liars

Yes, I've tried that several times, still doesn't work. I run an upgrade to get it to open up everytime I want to use it. That's about the only way I can get it to open. The only thing I haven't been able to do is try the mjrecover_setup. I would like to try that, but the recover button isn't available when I run it. I wish I knew something I could delete to make the blue light turn off so I could try that.

NSIS error - error launching installer / autorun.exe error
autorun.exe error - NO DISK , please insert disk into drive
NSIS error - error launching installer
My magicjack has been working fine for almost a year now until it tried to perform the "Upgrade" for my Vista pc.
Now it will no longer work. Have been working with the "Live Support" for an entire day now and still no solution.
Have tried running their UPGRADE.EXE and mjrecover_setup.exe . Have also formatted my magicjack 3 times and have also changed the drive letters in vista. nothing seems to work.

Same NSIS Error with MJ
I got up this morning to face similar problems - Running it on a old Dell Inspiron that I have converted into a FTP/Netowrk Probe Server/SMTP Server.
I unplugged it. Rebooted, then when I sent to plug it back in the little MJ graphic came up and in red stated that I needed to plug it in...it was already plugged in...so I unplugged and replugged...checking the drives it creates G: & H: ...both had nothing in them...
I rebooted once again and pluged it back in...and after the machine reobbote I double clicked the shortcut that I have on the desktop...it took me to the MJ website and showed me the free trial spalsh page...it was tempting...but hey...I have already paid! looking around there was no other options so I closed the browser winder and double clicked the MJ shortcut again...this time...JOY!
It's up, not sure what happened...
