Magicjack on Iphone working

Got it working using http://www.italk-iphone.com 's application through cydia.

***Con: it costs $$$ where fring is free***

My setup "settings" tab:

SIP Stun: off
SSip Stun Server: n/a
Codec: auto
Prefix for contacts: blank (so far)
Outbound proxy: proxy1.losangeles.talk4free.com:5070
RTP Port: 4000 (default)

My "account" tab:

Domain: 216.234.70.8
Username: Exxxxxxxxxx01
Password: ******************** (all 20 fits)
Proxy server: proxy1.losangeles.talk4free.com:5070
registration timeout: 0

make sure you go back to the accounts tab after it's set up and turn it on, then go back to dialer, then back to sip accounts and it should still be on. I had added the proxy to the first part here because it kept turning back off.

Oh, and if your running it anywhere else, it will not work :(

why dont you use fring ? I have fring and mj working perfectly.

You're right, I just checked and I just haven't tried it on it to see there's no character limit anymore. Very nice.. So we have just another option.

Does not work as of today - MJ changed the SIP password, dumping memory won't work and no one has hacked it yet but I feel confident that the hack will be found soon and posted.

that's amazing, was there a new fringe client release? I've been in the talks with the fringe development team for some time now. they told me that they were not going to have a new release for a couple of more months. I kept bugging them about the size of the pw string. I hope the new one works with 20 characters

fring also works with ipod touch 2g... you will need iphone mic adaptor to talk though... 10 bucks at target.

It may have been a while ago, or I may have set it up wrong initially. I got it working on Fring just fine so disregard my first post :)
