Computer wont boot with MJ attached

If I reboot the computer or if electric goes and the computer reboots itself, the computer locks if the MJ is in the USB. I have to remove the USB and reboot and then attach the MJ before it all works. What gives here. I have changed the boot sequence in the BIOS and disabled the USB boot altogether, but the same thing happens.

Maybe it's a bug specific to your computer. Like, even through you removed USB from the boot sequence, it's still looking at USB. If it bothered me enough, I would see if there is a bios upgrade available for the computer.

You could also try an ordinary flash drive (thumb drive) to see if the same thing happens.

Check your BIOS boot settings to see if it has a USB boot device ahead of the hard drive. If you do, change the boot device order and you should be good to go.
