I'm in the middle of a 30-day trial of MJ. So far, not too bad. A few hiccups here and there, but all-in-all fairly satisfied.
The only issue I have w/ my MJ is the timestamp on all my voicemails is 3 hrs off. I live in Seattle (PST) and have a Seattle prefix for my MJ number. However, all my voicemails are stamped 3 hrs later -- as if in EST.
I've participated in 3 different 'Chat' sessions w/ the MJ folks, but they're clueless. I don't have any firewalls on my systems. They all have static IPs behind a router. I have 5 Public IPs and have an policy forwarding UDP 5060 - 5070 to the PC where the MJ is installed.
Anyone else encounter this and/or know of a resolution?
Thx.

From what I've seen, you don't need that. The MJ softphone opens connections to port 5070 on the MJ proxy1 server. And, a port in the range of 10000-20000 on the MJ vms1 server.rkp wrote:have an policy forwarding UDP 5060 - 5070 to the PC where the MJ is installed.
The MJ servers don't open connections to you.

From the magicJack FAQ:
"The time stamp on voicemail cannot be changed at this time."
"The time stamp on voicemail cannot be changed at this time."
