MJ and Windows 98

Post by Atari Man »

Hey everybody,

Im new here... Ive got a few MJ's and they work great, but I just have one question.. Does anybody know if it is possible to run a MJ on a Windows 98 machine?

I know the website site officially says it only supports XP and Vista, but was curious if there was a driver for it anywhere.. or if any of you had figured out a way to get it to work on such a machine..

all replied are appreciated,

Have you ever seen how slow XP runs on 64MB of RAM?

I wouldn't recommend running XP SP2 or 3 with less then 384MB. 512MB or more would be better.

To the OP: No, it won't work with Win 98 [or Atari or Amiga or C64 or Classic Mac, either :-) ]. It doesn't even work on Windows 2000.

My dedicated MJ machine is a striped down HP 650mhz 64MB RAM XP sp3 machine.

Yes it runs slow but MJ runs very solid on this computer. :)
