What Cordless Phone are you using ?
I'm currently using a Panasonic KX-TG2343W Cordless Answering machine. Its about 4 years old, or maybe older.
No Problems using it with MagicJack.
But... I'm looking for a Cordless phone that could have more then 50+ Phone Directory and works great with MagicJack. Any Ideas ??

That happens when there's a phone number showing within the softphone screen. After a call, I always press the off key on the cordless about 3 times, to make sure it clears the number.gorjis1 wrote:I just purchased my MajicJack, and I'm using a GE Dect 6.0 cordless phone (2 phones). The MajicJack and phone work fine so far.
I have noticed that when I first press the 'on' button, there is no dial tone. When I press 'off' and then 'on' again, I hear a dial tone and it works fine.

AT&T Dect 6.0. Works great -- passes caller ID and the sound quality is excellent.

Cordless phone system
I am using a Panasonic KX-TG1034, with 4 handsets and answering machine. Only the base unit is plugged into the MJ, but all handsets work just fine with MJ. Each handset can hold 50 phone book numbers, but they don't have to be the same numbers, which is nice, because each member of the family could have their own handset with their personal numbers programed in. If you have some numbers that are common to all members of the family you can easily copy them from one handset to another. The phonebook function works like a cellphone phonebook and is easy to use. This is a great system.

Panasonic KXT-GA101S Handset doesn't work without tweak
It wouldn't show the caller id, but when I plugged in a landline phone with a splitter to MJ, it works fine.
Uniden dect2060-2W handles upto 70 names in phonebook
I recently bought Uniden Dect2060-2W from Buy.com . It handles up to 70 names in phone book and works well with MJ. Previously I had Panasonic Dect 6.0 (2 handset model) did not work well with MJ - not able to display called ID. I suspect it was problem with the unit I had and I replaced that with Uniden. Now I am happy.

my whole house is connected. I use a Vtech cordless model 511, works great. Have a Panasonic 2.4 gz. with answer machine, works great and an old GE in the basement, also cordless and 900mhz. All work great. MJ is plugged into a usb powered hub. So far, three weeks.
Just give me a new gadget everyday!
Uniden 5.8 GHz TRU9466 two-line cordless with 4 handsets (one on the base station, three in various locations in the house.) All work fine. The second line is my basic, cheap Verizon POTS line. I need to keep it because Verizon won't provide me a dry DSL loop.
Had to make the crossover fix to get CallerID to display on the phone, but it works perfectly.

I am using a Uniden 5.8GHz EXI8560 Cordless Phone. I love this phone except the caller ID does not show the phone number. I love the service and I can deal with the caller ID # not showing.
DECT 6.0 cordless phone works fine.
I use a Presidian DECT 6.0 cordless phone (about 28 dollars from Radio Shack). It works great with my magicjack. I can call from any room in my house or from my backyard. The sound is loud and clear. Magicjack is a bargain!!!
