585 area code for Rochester,NY

Anyone have any idea if they will ever have a Rochester,NY 585 area code
They do have 1 avalable for Batavia,NY but no sense in my changing to that as it still is long distance for everyone,my Dad is still waiting for a Rochester,NY 585 code as he uses the Batavia one,and for people next door that causes the long distance issue,he has 2 magic jacks 1 for his store and 1 for his home.

actually thought it would go under a new thread,but if there any mods for this forum they can move it if they prefer.
