unable to tranmit voice thru dlink smc router

I have tried to forward udp ports 5060, 5070,5061 and tcp ports 443 and 80, and after a few seconds the tramit path is blocked by my router.
SMC dlink 4 port 10/100 router.

All works fine when router is bypassed.

Is it possible that their server negotiates a different udp port each time
or how can I fix this permenant to work thru dlin smc router for good?

See the wiki FAQ for the question concerning whether you need to open ports in your firewall. It refers to a description of all ports used by MJ. (Your missing some. And, you shouldn't have to open ports. If you have to, it's because you have a buggy router which should be returned if possible.).

Also notice the trick in the firewall section where someone port forwarded an internal port and it fixed the problem. It doesn't make sense because you normally forward external ports (which is never necessary with MJ). So, the fact that it fixed the problem proves it was something buggy about the router's firmware.

With all the talk of class-action lawsuits against MJ for failing to deliver on its promises, I'm surprised there aren't people contacting their state attorney generals complaining about Linksys, et. al., selling defective merchandise.

for ports 5060 and 5070 udp use ip 192.168.2.1, as well(router address)

and set port 80 and 443 to tcp

Works great now thru router:) thanks
