Trying to install 2nd MJ on computer with new phone number

Hi,
I installed my 1st MJ in Dec08 and just bought a 2nd 2/09 with the goal to have a 2nd phone number for traveling to a different area code. When I attached the 2nd (1st not attached), I accidently installed as though it is the 1st MJ. Checking the info on http://my.magicjack.com for the new one shows it is not activated but has an extended contract already paid. Tried to install it on a fresh computer but it still came up with the 1st MJ phone number so I am assuming the MJ itself got burned with that number during my attempt to install in the first computer. Is there any way to clear the 2nd MJ so I can try to reinstall it under the new multi-year contract and get a second number. I hate to just return it as it works well.

I hate to say this but I think you are the lucky one to report a problem that no one else has had; at least I have not heard of it before. What happens when you reattach the old MJ back in the PC?

The problem is not very clear. I got a 2nd Jack in December. Did exactly what you describe. It worked fine. I can switch between the two jacks (one at a time) on the same machine and they work fine.

You may have to contact chat support, and escalate to a supervisor. Escalate to Dan (contact info is on the wiki FAQ).
