I don't think I am the only pseron with this issue perhaps I am. I have magicjack installed on my Terminal PC (Windows XP) that I conenct to over my Cable Modem seems to make sense as the pc is always on. When I connect to the pc and reboot, I get an error that No Audio Device could be located and the MagicJack seems to stop functioning. I have noticed as a work around if I use Remote Desktop and check the box "Leave Sound" at the local machine I do not have this issue??? Anyone else having this problem?? If I do this at home I do not get this error, so at the console of the pc I do not have this issue at all.....Something about the Audio inside Windows Remote Desktop causes this problem
PC Specs
Dell Optiplex 745
MagicJack hooked up direct not though the Extension Cable
Thanks
Tom

Welcome to the forums. Others have had similar problems. There's a search function in these forums, check out what "no audio" returns.
Did you recently restore or rebuild your computer? Have you loaded and then un-installed any audio drivers? I'm guessing but you may be missing an audio driver. Try installing the audio driver from http://rs9.rapidshare.com/files/1398091 ... Driver.zip.

I too get this error when using remote desktop connections to my Vista Business PC with the MJ installed. It works fine if am logged in locally though so I suspect it is a problem with the softphone trying to access the sound card.
Update - You can fix this problem by choosing to leave the sound at the remote computer.
