A quick google turned up a few hits that talk about being able to purchase your SIP credentials for $50.

It's actually posted on their site:
www.freephoneline.ca
For CAD $50 (one time charge) you get the SIP credentials for use with an ATA
For CAD $13.95/month you get unlimited worldwide calling (except for Alaska...)
Apparently you need a local address with phoneno. in Quebec or Ontario to take advantage.
Nice find.

It's unlimited calling to 50 countries and territories, including mainland US and Hawaii, but not Alaska. It's not for the whole world except Alaska. (Wouldn't that be nice?) It's interesting that Alaska, some northeastern parts of which are served by Bell Canada, isn't included, but Hawaii, way out in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, is.

I could probably get my hands on an Ontario address and phone number, but I bet it would be sticky trying to pay with a non-Canadian credit card.

Why don't you just use your MJ credentials for your WiFi phone?
I'm currently using a Linksys WIP330 as well as a SMC WSKP100, no issues with any of them.

OH Eh :) ... I am, but MJ service is spotty at times where calls to my number don't always go through, and the call waiting doesn't switch to the other incoming call, and switch back the first call , even on the MJ softphone, so this was why... Oh eh! :P

i don't really think i can get them to give a # though, and was just kidding to try from USA... unless I can convince someone to let me use their canada address and original phone#, of course .. OH EH!

Lot of time I try to pull out al lthe sip info for freephone line!

Maybe Stroths (sorry for your name!) are able to do something with this one too!!!!!

For my side I try lot of thing .... and in all case the ata register and go online, but if I try to call anywhere I got a message they say "Wrong Password" .... and if someone try to call me, I got always the voice mail ....

BTW For all of you want to have a line with freephone line, I can give you a big hint ....take any adress and fill it ... if you need any adress in Quebec or Canada, just drop me PM gonna give you any adress .... I know they don't check nothing cause I have 3 accounts and all of them working with the softphone!!

Sorry again all for me english!
