Defective device, plugin blue light comes on then goes off

My device worked fine for about two months. Then one day the blue light went out. I tried plugging it into two of my other three computers. To find that for some strange reason the blue light stays on when plugged into one specific computer. I still have the defective jack, but Magicjack was nice enough to send me a replacement. Please revisit and reference this issue if a similiar mal-function is reported. I blamed the problem on my magicjack due to 1 out of 3 computer success rate. Maybe two computers were having the same issues. Feedback on computer failure with magicjack would be appreciated.

USB ports shut down (power off) if they are asked to supply more than 0.5 ampere. It sounds like one of your computers is a little more liberal with the power than the other two. For whatever reason your bad MJ was drawing too much current.
