Not everything is a political statement. Sometimes a picture of a mountain with snow and green trees is just a picture of a mountain with snow and green trees.

Aren't You A Real Smarty?!

Good afternoon, msiam.

Let me take this opportunity to congratulate you on your insight. Global Warming is a fiction fabricated from the naturally-occurring process of climate change and some very clever so-called think tankers helping elected officials identify new sources of tax revenue -- vis-a-vis the great carbon tax that we will all one day pay.

While the suckers of the world beg to be cared for by their respective governments, there await evil men and women in positions of power with large broom handles only too happy to thrust them where it hurts. It's not a conspiracy, mind you, it's human nature. Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely.

You may find the following documentary, The Great Global Warming Swindle, of interest. Rest assured, you will never see it aired on American television.

Being responsible is difficult. It burns calories, forces one to think for themselves, and requires one to confront the ugliness of being alone and being subjected to the will of the state. Most people will never be responsible. It's just too unbearable. The thought of not having someone to make their decisions for them, to protect them, to feed them, to subjugate them, indeed, to care for them, is just too much.

Eventually, the subjugation becomes overbearing and history repeats itself. The people rise up in rebellion. Many people die. And, like the Phoenix, something more beautiful rises from the ashes. It's been written about time and time and time and time again. Nothing changes, except the dates, of course.

What man learns from the study of history is that man does not learn from the study of history.

Keep reading, observing and learning -- if you dare.
Thank you.

Lisa :)

How do you categorize your own participation in (and benefit from) social moderation of otherwise Darwinian fates? Things like the SEC, FDIC, zoning laws, building codes, food- & drug-quality laws. Things that produce market-based outcomes that a true, "free" market wouldn't. All by social fiat.

I'm just curious if you consistently apply your high-minded rhetoric (placing your views among the irrelevant fringe). Or, if you're just hypocritical (like most who spout libertarian ideals, as if it's everyone *else* is suckling at the teet of society).

Thank you, Lisa. I get lonely and nosebleed way up here on this "Soap Box", It seems to be exactly as you have said, and that I'm shouting to people with their hands over their eyes, mouths, and ears.. I am paying attention to what is going on and it scares me to see what I see.. What scares me most is the complacent attitude that has too many people leaning back and thinking that it is all going to just take care of itself. Everyday I find Obozo's hand in my pocket digging around and taking more of mine and my childrens childrens future to pay for his Zombies comfort and captivity today. But he did a very good job of indoctrinating his Zombies, cause it seems that no one will believe that the light at the end of the tunnel is the "Obozo Train". Yes, I saw the snow on the top of the Mountain and thought of the BS that Gore was trying to dump on us from his "Movie About A Slide Show" What an "Inconvenient Crock'aCrap". "Hey, the sky is falling..Cha Ching.. That was the first thing that popped into my mind. You watch how many "Nahhhh"s we get outta these posts. All the Obozo Zombies will be on this like we've insulted their Messiah.. I'll be very surprised if it takes more than 20 minutes.. And they don't want this Political discussion here.. Hey folks.. Its the lounge, read the rules..Besides, I know that it ain't really Obama, he's just the front man for the real Broom Handle thrusters..They're shootin for "The New World Order" folks, and Obombies are handing it to'em..

You Are Not Alone!

Post by lcompton »

Hi, again, msiam.
msiam wrote:Thank you, Lisa. I get lonely...
You are not alone. There are many people who see through the B.S.

Evil states are unsustainable over time. Your observation that Obama is a front-man is on point. The concept of left and right, communist and facist, Democrat and Republican are distractions. There are two forms of government -- oligarchs and constitutional republics, usually referred to as republics. Most Americans don't even realize what kind of government is the United States. In fact, the media perpetuates the falsehood by consistently referring to the United States as a democracy. Not only is the United States not a democracy, but there is actually no such thing as a democracy. Democracies are, by definition, oligarchs.

Oligarchs are ruled by a privileged elite who victimize the people of the state through manipulation, lies, and pseudo-issues in order to distract the people from the illegal and evil affairs in which the privileged elite engage. Republics are ruled by a constitution, a body of laws, that protect the people from the men and women serving in government. The challenge of a republic is maintaining its viability over time.

You may watch this brief ten-minute video for a simple, but accurate, presentation on the false left-right paradigm and concepts of government.
Thank you.

Very good. In fact, Earth's climate is scientifically and measurably tied to sunspot activity. This is well-researched and well-documented.

But, beware of calling your T-shirts conservative message T-shirts. There is nothing conservative about unpoliticized scientific research, accuracy, or admitting when we just plain don't know something. It's about being honest with ourselves first, and then with others.

Keep up the good fight!
Thank you.

Lisa, You said it the way I wish was my style, You get it. I see it as the Govt of this country has the illusion that we are supposed to work for them, when, in fact, the Govt misconstrues the Constitution and takes advantage of the fact that very few even know what is the law of the Constitutionl. The Govt uses this fog to make many believe that they are above the law, when in fact, they work for us, and can be fired. They are getting better and better at taking advantage of this misunderstanding and making it up as they go on how to profit from the masses.. Hey everyone!! READ THE CONSTITUTION!! If many would, we could see a change in the near future..REAL CHANGE!! Not the Obozo BS Change..

I'm just glad we're past the high-sounding libertarian rhetoric about how people want to be taken care of by government -- as you benefit from various social institutions (undoubtedly meaning "taken care of" in ways you don't find useful).

The distinction between democracy and republic is one without much point. Republics are democracies. The only way a republic can be constituted and continue to exist is by popular will for, and continuation of the laws of the republic.

A republic with unchanging laws (not subject to popular change) is itself an oligarchy. Pressing the popular will of a prior generation (who passed the laws by majority rule) upon the current generation.

Drawing a big distinction between republics and democracies is a distraction (like claiming others wrongfully rely upon government when the claimant engages in the same thing).

The Constitution of the United States...

The Constitution of the United States belongs to the people.

Men and women in government are becoming increasingly aggressive in terrorizing law-abiding Americans for political dissent. Last month, the Missouri Information Analysis Center (MIAC), a division of the Missouri Department of Public Safety, published an official eight-page document suggesting (on page seven) that Ron Paul supporters (among others) may be terrorists. This report infuriated many Americans, including myself (because I actually wrote in Ron Paul's name on my ballot last November to cast my vote for him for President.)

Fortunately, the public outrage was enough to have the director of the Missouri Department of Public Safety on administrative leave and the lieutenant governor of Missouri to hold a press conference effectively recanting the MIAC report.

Things are progressively getting worse. Anyone who sees through the B.S. and expresses differing points of view is being targeted with increasing frequency by the corrupt men and women in government and other blind Americans who have chosen to accept the lies. The more extreme among these people, especially men and women in government hiding behind their badges and organizations, will arrest, imprison and even murder those expressing dissenting views as the 1770's plays out all over again.

It is no more unlawful, irrelevant, traitorous, blasphemous or terroristic to espouse what one sees than it was for Galileo to suggest a structure of the universe that differed from that of the Catholic Church during his time. Remember that -- always.
Thank you.

Ron Paul supporters are just irrelevant. Libertarianism has garnered a consistent 3% support for the past 30 years.

Libertarian rhetoric sounds good to those who are "angry as heII and not going to take it." The problem is the devils in the details. Like whining about people expecting government to take care of them -- only to realize that a consistent application of libertarian philosophy/rhetoric would lead us to a perfectly Darwinian world. (No regulation of the stock market, banks, food and drug markets, home building and land use.).

That's when most libertarians lose interest. And, why popularity always returns back to 3%.

There are a few libertarians who take the rhetoric to its natural conclusion, and stand by their principles (defending the conclusion even if it makes them irrelevant). But, the vast majority realize how untenable it is, and quietly amend their beliefs.

Joe, I will be needing a couple of the shirts, I like the short and to the point sayings.. And I don't miss any of What Glen Beck has to say..

Lisa, I am with you on the Ron Paul idea. I'm sure you noticed how the Main Stream Media helped so much with making the Zombies watching and believing CNN (Owned by the Broom Thrusters) and the rest of the Media that Ron was invisible. The masses paid no attention to logic and all they heard was "CHANGE" and "HOPE".with no explanation. Then I begin seeing all the Sheep following the hyped up rhetoric from this empty suit.. The first I heard of Ron was in the beginning of my Magic Jack days when the Chat was run by MJ techs and there were a few talking about him while we all waited for an answer to the many problems and the users were actually a huge source of support then too.. I follow Ron, and have from the beginning, I also was one of the many that called and sent faxes to the senate about the MIAC report, Suddenly, with my "RON PAUL WAS RIGHT" Bumper sticker..I was a Terrorist??? Geeze, I got pissed..I must've sent 20 faxes and called senators from WI and FL.. I was not happy with that one..I also stocked up on my ammo

Libertarianism is just incoherent. It doesn't need the help of the media to make that point. It's been incoherent for 30 years. (Even longer if you take into account its origin with Ayn Rand's objectivism.).

If libertarianism is taken to its natural conclusions, it leads to unrealistic (irrelevant) views. That's why Ron Paul was marginalized. Not because of the media. But, because saying "the states should do that" to every problem didn't make sense to anyone.

Calling potential supporters "zombies" didn't help either. :)

Ammunition Supplies...

The MIAC report is very disturbing and illustrates how far terroristic men and women in the employ of the state will go to demonize law-abiding responsible citizens who express dissenting points of view. These men and women are evil people who are ready, willing, able and licensed by the state to murder their fellow Americans. It is important to note that not all men and women in the employ of the state are traitors. There are good men and women who will not obey the illegal and terrorisic orders of their evil superiors. It is worth noting that the MIAC report surfaced because one good and honorable Missouri State Trooper reported the evil of the MIAC report to the public.

Ammunition is difficult to find these days. Even reloading supplies have dried up. If you know of a source for ammunition that is in-stock, I'd very much appreciate a private message with more information. My ammunition supply could use an increase as well.

Earlier this week I spoke with my old combat firearms instructor who has promised to call me early next week with some possible suppliers.

Keep your powder dry.
Thank you.

About 2% of the voting population? (about .5% of the actual population?).

The rhetoric is sounding strangely similar to the early- mid-90s. Michigan Militia. Montana Freemen. A tiny fraction of the population who were going to save Americans from "sheeple" status. Americans who would join the "militia" if they weren't "blinded" by their "taskmasters."

Same nonsense. Different day. Libertarianism just as offensive, and still gets 2% of the vote.

Al Gore did have a serious job lined up at the end of 2000. He was chosen by the plurality of voters to be the 43rd president. Had Al Gore been permitted to take the White House, could Dubya have accomplished anything to be judged by the world's most respected independent evaluation committee as worthy of the world's most prestigious award?
