This program has been updated to v1.1.19. Thanks to your support and help the code is much stronger and efficient. magicJack Phone Manager not only hides the magicJack softphone but now allow you to make phone calls, check voice mail and more while keeping magicJack's softphone hidden.
I wrote this program in VB6. It does everything I need. It hides the magicJack softphone and it never steals focus, it removes all banners from the softphone and also removes the Google link. I have included the source code in the zip file. Feel free to steal the code and share it so long as you make improvements. Let me know if i am missing anything important from the program. Enjoy

You should set this up as a separate post, in order to make it more visible and accessible.
There has only been 56 downloads (not as many Thank You's obviously....), which is surprisingly low for an actually working feature like this.

Thanks, that actually is really nice!

Here's a suggested feature, which may seem rather useless at first, but believe me... It would be incredible:

Throw another toggle button on your program that would cause Magic Jack to automatically answer every phone call that comes in. Maybe you could let it wait for a few rings or something, so someone could deny the call... But otherwise, just pick up all incoming calls. I'd freaking PAY for the program if it did that.

Oh, by the way. If you're doing freebie software programming like this, you should set up a paypal donation link. You never know when someone will love it enough to support it's creator.

Add it to your Startup folder(prob located here...C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup...) to make it auto start, and I use TrayIt to minimize it to the system tray. Minimizing to the System tray should be an option in the program itself, but as coding is way over my head who I am too say what it should and should not have. Just google TrayIt to find this great free lil program. Also look thru the TrayIt options to get that to autostart.

First off, thank you so much for sharing this WONDERFUL program! I'm still getting the "incoming call" box popping up when a call comes in and wonder if this program can hide that as wel (maybe I just haven't figured it out yet). If so, would you mind telling me how?

Thank you very much. I am now able to shut off voice mail and set the number of rings. My crazy mother can no longer leave 10 minute messages, she likes to leave 19 insane messages in one day. Thanks to your program, she can no longer leave me any more messages. It's cool it also has caller ID..Now I won't have to change my number again. You really should market this program because as you know there is no way to block calls, but at least I can turn my voice mail off if I have to. If you ever do make a program that blocks incoming calls on MJ I would love you forever. LOL

This is funny on speed dial I programmed my Aunts number in, well it is 2 am in the morning. All I did was click on the number with my phone receiver down and it still rung their phone..Oops. LOL. My Uncle is like I keep getting calls from you. I was saying I'm sorry..I had to explain. He was cool with it, he just wanted to make sure I was ok.

What would be cool is if these features worked with the computer off.
I turned off my modem and was able to leave a voice mail and I am not one to leave my PC on all the time because of my electric bill. Well maybe someday you come up with that invention.
