Computer Hangs On Restart

Hello,
I hope someone can help.
Every time I restart my computer with the MagicJack plugged in my computer just hangs.
I don't even get to the Config settings or the Bios.
Nothing.
Just a black screen with a _ at the top.
I've waited about half an hour to see if itwill eventually boot, but nothing.
I have my computer set to Not Boot From USB.
I'm using Vista Home Premium on a Gateway GM5643E Quad Core.
Any help is appreciated!

Is your machine set to boot from a cd before it starts from the hard drive? Your machine may be seeing MJ as a cd and is trying to boot from it but of course it is not a bootable drive. If that is the case then reset the order for bootable devices in your setup. Good luck.
