i purchased a used one and need to reset it so i can link it to my account. the number is still registered but the unit will not work.

turns out there was a balance on the account, so they locked it, just like vonage does with their devices. The devices can not be used until the balance is paid....thanks

Well? Are U saying MJ has no serial on it? For god sake, an ipod shoffle, that micro $50 thing has an embedded long serial on the box, on the memory chip, and on the battery.

Just put on sprint shoes to get out of the rat-shack pronto, in case the Rat-Shack clerk turn out to be an inquiring kind and asks for your drivers license and birth certificate. And, don't give up your real name, adress, and SS# to the rat-shack, as they demand for their data base.

thanks for the advice. I did go there today and purchase one. I asked them a few normal questions. Then they told me that I couldnot get my money back, even if it didn't work. Two options. Return the defective one to mj. or they will exchange it for a new one. I think I will do that.If I cant sell it, which i probably will. I will just keep it. Does the call quality improve without a dongle?

If U are not using dongle, call quality may diminish depending on the quality of your sound card and PC architecture.
