Serious problems with MJ :( Help me please!

Post by jackiemomto3 »

I appreciate you taking a look at my post. I purchased MJ at Walmart on Wednesday got home and tried to install it. Everything worked fine, I filled out my registration and when I hit "activate" nothing happened. I get stuck on a page that says "processing request, this could take a couple of minutes" Hours and hours go by and nothing. I have spoken to their costumer service line and they were absolutely no help. I lost sooo much time with them. I am so frustrated I dont know what to do! I have tried every single solution they had for me. I have run upgrades, done speed test, i mean anything and everything you can think of! Can anyone please help me? Thank you so much in advance!! Im desperate!

I think just simply take the magic jack back to walmart and exchage it as a defective item. get the new one and try to use different computer to activare the new one.

Thanks for your response, but I have already done that. My new one doesnt work either. My computer is new, not even a year old yet so I do not think that is the problem. Anyone else have a clue?

Try downloading combofix and the eponymous program from www.malwarebytes.org

disable any virus/spyware proggys on your machine and run combofix followed by malwarebytes

You have a url interceptor trojan on your machine

Good luck

Can you try registering using another computer? A friends? See if you can eliminate your PC and Internet service from the equation.

Hi. If you have no access to another PC to try the MJ, it, seems one of your remaining options is to chat with MJ again. You can always ask the MJ person to elevate you to the next higher level of help.

Can you go to an Internet cafe with an understanding owner/operator who'd let you plug in your MJ?
