A Piece of advice from a pissed off
If you are not ready to be charged immediately for the device, try purchasing it from RadioShack. . .
(I wish I have done that)

Now does that solve the problem? If you purchase from Radio Shack, you WILL get charged immediately.RisingJackForce wrote:If you are not ready to be charged immediately for the device, try purchasing it from RadioShack. . .

I believe your logic is somewhat flawed.

If you are worried about overdraft charges, try a Walmart Money Card. It works like any other Atm/Debit/Prepaid Visa card and no overdraft or other unexpected fees ever. I got one for my wife and it has saved me a bundle.RisingJackForce wrote:Sorry for the logic, can you blame for the logic lol
anyway. the thing is if you are worrying about any problems with your card or being overdraft for it might just have purchase directly form resellers.
I hope its not so flawed now?

Just picked mine up from Radio Shack about 30 minutes ago.
The best part is that they have a year warranty addon for $5.99 so if anything goes wrong, I just bring it in and they'll replace it. No worrying about customer service or RMAs or anything.
Plugged it into my computer, registered and hooked a phone to it and it sounds great! Made my first call and it was just like a land line, but a tad louder. Had to turn the volume down a notch and then it was perfect.
I couldn't be happier.

Hey...
Ebay, Best Buy, RadioShack, Amazon, QVC... those are good resellers but ask them first before you purchase because resellers has its own way of selling the product... and take note dont forget to bring your receipt when you want to return or if you want a replacement to avoid a mess:)

I bought mine at RS too, for the simple reason that if anything happens to it, I could return it there. I don't know how long the warranty is on the Jack itself (maybe none?) but if it fails, back it goes.
So far so good, using since Feb without major issues. Running as a service on a 24/7 old Dell Dimension 3000 (2.8GHz, 512MB) and the choppy issues seem so to have gone away for the most part.

(Dan) You will not find one person who was charged before the 30 day trial was completed. The issue is debit card holders, who were told at least 2 times, that there would be a hold against their debit/credit card at time of order. The issue with debit cards is that a hold may have the same effect as a charge on their debit card, causing overdrafts and the like. The company do not accept debit cards anymore for a Free Trial, but offer instead a 30 day money back guarantee now.
