antivirus and Magic jack sick
MY MJ has been running fine going on a month now. This morning I installed and antivirus (AVG) and afterwards, MJ sound quality went south. I uninstalled the antivirus and did a update for MJ and all is well. Is there something i can do to keep the antivirus program?

Try Avast
Use Avast with the MJ,Very compatible with no conflict, Just go to avast program settings(right click on tray icon, the blue a button),Scroll down to "troubleshooting, and check top two boxes,
"check for full screen","Delay Loading of Avast".
should work fine together.
avast download link from file hippo.com

My computer is not very old. 3.2 G and 1 gig ram. I have very little programs on it and uninstalled just about everything that came as junk. I don't watch . and i don't download much. I use it mostly for email. How do I change priority of MY Process? what is that? Do you mean MJ processes? How is that done. , thanks

Did you try going into the advanced options in AVG and in the Resident Shield settings add an exception for the two MJ drive paths?callontom wrote:MY MJ has been running fine going on a month now.
