Where can I get cheap VoIP Modem?

Post by but2002 »

What is a Cheap VOIP device that will work with MagicJack. I want it to work in my wired home with all of my telephone devices, and of course, I don't want my computer to be on at all times just to use the phone..
Thanks for your input guys

(Also, has to support shipping to Oklahoma City, US)

I'm currently running my MJ on a Thin Client. For someone considering a low cost way to run a MJ, the HT-286 would seem the way to go. And the unit looks quite small, is unobtrusive too, and the AC adapter should consume a minimum of electricity.

Can anyone confirm the MJ SIP credentials work with the HT-286? How's the sound quality?

I don't think so. If you know how to re-coding their firmware, it is possible.
